Is it Watermelon day yet?!?!?!?!

Spring is here and the countdown to the 50th Stanhope Watermelon day heats up. The Board of Governors at Stanhope State University will have an announcement right here on our humble site this Saturday about an important announcement for the Watermelon Warrior Nation. (No worrires, it's good news).

Along with our announcement we will have a mega post all things going on and begin the countdown to the 50th Watermelon Day.

March Madness and More Updates on the Way!

It’s that time of year. While all of us at Stanhope State are anxiously waiting to fill out our brackets, we have been getting our fill of March Madness provided by the South Hamilton Hawks. A HUGE shout out to the South High wrestlers and basketball teams on great seasons!

Another shout out the Watermelon Warrior Radio Network, KQWC in Webster City. The Q has added streaming audio on their website. This Watermelon Warrior didn’t have to wait for the 10 o’clock news for a score… we listened to it live. You can even catch the “Trading Post” on the web during the week (remember no mattresses, real estate, ect) and many of their local shows.
